Somebody asked me why I would choose to seek to get readmitted to the very church that excommunicated me, by getting baptized and confirmed a member a year after being removed?

Because I believe that Church to be the only organization that contains the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all authority, revelation, and power necessary to help bring an individual to their Redeemer.

In all honesty, it wasn’t The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that excommunicated me. It wasn’t even my local Church leaders who stripped me of the Holy Ghost, my temple covenants, my priesthood office….It was me. Long before I was removed from the records of the Church, I distanced myself from God, lived in a manner that offended the Spirit, and broke my covenants. Being excommunicated was simply an administrative decision, done prayerfully, in order for me to step back and start over.

I couldn’t honestly sit back and feel hurt or betrayed by the religion who stood faithfully by their own precepts when I chose to walk another direction.

I chose to return to the Church so that I could become a consecrated disciple of Jesus Christ, through dedicated scripture study and meaningful prayer.

When I was officially removed from the Church records at the end of April 2017, I entertained the idea of attending and possibly joining another faith. I had my issues with some Church doctrines and I still have questions that linger and have gone unanswered. I really could have joined any Church I wanted, as there are some fine Churches within walking distance of my house. I could have just stopped attending Church all together and saved myself any judgement, heartache, or pain. But it wouldn’t have been good for me, or my family

I could have waved goodbye to the Mormon faith all together….but that would have been contrary to what I feel to be true and the experiences that taught me that truth. It would have been taking the easy way out, which has never ever been really easy. I know this to be Christ’s Restored Church in our time, with all the gifts, blessing, and ordinances necessary for salvation. and I intended to share as much of it as possible with those who are willing to read along with me.

Below will be a running list of resources that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints offers to aid people throughout the world.
